Essence was birthed from the thought that “an exquisite dining experience should be well within reach of the residents of the mainland of Lagos.” With a visual identity that stimulates diners’ senses even before they sight their platters, an ambiance of affordable dining luxury and sating moments simmers to life.

Filled with life's essence

The visual identity is inspired by elements of essence found in nature. The logo borrows spice from the sun, moon, and plant life to denote the warm, aesthetic, and invigorating dining experience Essence offers. And for a complementary garnish, the wordmark is rendered in the wholesome flourishes of New York.
